Day 365 of 365

Like Raewyn, I had great intentions for a different photo for today,
but the sun was shining this morning and this little critter was sitting just outside my window.
I had to take advantage of the opportunity to get this shot.

As 2014 comes to an end and my 365 days of pictures also concludes, I have to say thank you to everyone who has come this way and viewed my little blog.
I have had a great time and am thrilled that so many of you decided to join me in the 365 day quest.
Instead of saying goodbye though, I would like to say see you tomorrow
as I have decided to continue taking the daily pictures in 2015.
I hope you will still come visit from time to time.

Happy New Year!

Day 364 of 365

While I was driving on the highway the sky was gorgeous with light streaming out from the clouds.
By the time I was off the highway and able to take a picture,
the sky was just a big cloudy, white out, glare-y mess.
I snapped a picture anyway.
Much to my surprise there was more in the photo than I knew.
I have cropped out much of the glare-y mess to reveal a helicopter and a flock of birds.

Day 363 of 365

Days of Christmas Past
This garland adorned our Christmas tree when I was young.
I remember helping to make it out of ribbon.  It has just come into my possession.
I think it will now adorn my sewing space...at least at Christmas.

Day 362 of 365

There is new knitting on my needles tonight.
This time it is knitting for little people.
I'll share the completed item and a link to the pattern as soon as it is done.

Day 360 of 365

When dishcloth meets garbage disposal, garbage disposal wins.
There is only one solution to this problem.
Start knitting.

Day 358 of 365

The creatures are stirring.
On a rainy morning the tree squirrel has found his way into the caged feeder.
What a nice spot with a roof to eat to his heart's (or stomach's) content.

Day 356 of 365

I'm feeling a bit puny.  I may need some help to get some sleep.

Day 353 of 365

GB#1 awaits the start of the holiday program at her day care.
She is decked out in reindeer glasses because her class sang
"Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer."
Oh, what fun!

Day 352 of 365

I went to the store for something to go with the apple crisp I planned to bake tonight.
Oh, there you are!

Day 351 of 365

M has lights in her room to make it festive.
I think she would keep them up all year if she could.

Day 347 of 365

While doing the photo shoot for our Christmas card
I decided to seize the opportunity to take a picture of the four GBs together.
To clear up any confusion, here are some fun facts about them.
From left to right, they are GB#1, GB#2, GB#3 and GB#4.
They have three separate sets of parents.
GB#1 and GB#2 are three months apart.
GB#3 and GB#4 are three months apart.
GB#2 and GB#4 are sisters.

Day 346 of 365

M is all done with her shopping.
She is also done wrapping.
Whoa, this girl is good!

Day 344 of 365

GB#4 is three months old.
She contemplates her hands.
She smiles, laughs and "talks" to those who will listen.
You'd never know from the serious photo shoot.

Day 342 of 365

Fireball and I got away for a weeknight date at the neighborhood coffee shop.
He said it was more of a Christmas planning meeting than a date.
An hour and a half alone with the hubby?  I still call that a date.

Day 338 of 365

GB#3 has a hard time keeping his socks on.
Subsequently, he frequently has cold feet so I made him this little pair of shoes.
Evidently, he kept them on all evening.

Day 337 of 365

This time of the year one can buy more than groceries at the grocery store.

Day 336 of 365

The first and best Christmas party of the season was tonight.
This was the calm before the chaos of the fabric exchange
at my quilt group's annual gathering.

Day 335 of 365

Another fun family thing we like to do is read the signs on storefronts we see
while we are in the car at night that have burned out letters.
Sometimes they are pretty funny.
If the above store was really real, I think I would go.  I like fun!
With a different exposure you can see the actual sign.
Not nearly as much fun.
