Day 89/365

Pink gingham gets gathered.
I will pick a new subject soon, but this is where my concentration is right now.

Day 82/365

This was supposed to be a cute little "before and after" photo,
but I forgot that my staple gun is on loan
so the transformation could not take place today.
Soon.

Day 81/365

I see quilts in the tiles.
I believe this one should be a scrappy strip quilt.

Day 80/365

Here is my favorite group of trees three years later.
I believe my favorite of the three is the one on the right.

Day 79/365

Today is the first day of spring.
I couldn't get the egg to stand on end
I didn't have the time or the patience to keep trying.

Day 78/365

Extreme disappointment.
Long story short:
The dryer broke.  I researched new dryers...a lot.  We ordered a new dryer.
Dryer delivery and installation was scheduled for today.  It never showed up.
Start over.
Continue hanging all the clothes all over the house to dry.

Day 76/365

One of the best things about my Tuesday quilting group
is that we get to see old quilts owned by other members.
This quilt has been in our hostess's family for a very long time.
It is soft, crinkly and loved.

Day 75/365

Downtown.
Looking south from the steps of the monument on this gorgeous day.

Day 73/365

The sky was gorgeous tonight.
And look, I managed to get great starbursts in the car lights
and in the parking lot lights
without even trying.

Day 72/365

The next quilt top is loaded on the machine.
This top was made by Little E several years ago.
She told me I can practice on it.
No pressure!

I would like to take before and after pictures of quilts that I finish.
I forgot this time.
There is not much room behind the machine so I did the best I could.
Hopefully I will remember the next time.

Day 71/365

Being out all day away from home
you would think I would have gotten a photo of something.
Alas, I did not,
but we made another new recipe, so I got a quick shot of our sweet potato & peanut soup.

Day 70/365

GB#4 is six months old.  She is easy-going and happy.
She has eyelashes like her daddy.
She adores her big sister (GB#2).
They are quite the pair!

Day 67/365

Toothpicks

I've been using my 50mm lens a lot lately.
I really like the close-ups I can get with my 85mm also.
I think I'll spend some time with it for a while.

Day 65/365

Last September I taught Sue Nickels how to make my paper-cut stars seen here
She loved them, became a little obsessed, and took them in many different directions.
Today she gave me one of her creations.
Isn't it a beauty?

Day 64/365

GB#3 is nine months old. We had a great photo shoot with lots of smiles.
He had some serious moments,
but he also showed us that he can be a stinker.

Day 63/365

It was a nice day, comparatively speaking,
so GB#3 and I took a trip out to the quilt shop.
I bought this fabric to make something for M.
I have no idea what I will be making,
but you never know when you might not be able to find it anymore,
so I bought some.

Day 61/365

My reflexes are great.
The rest of me is great.
See you next year, Doctor.

Day 60/365

This morning we awoke to find seven inches of snow on the ground.
It continued off and on most of the day.
