My binding kit isn't good for just bindings. 

I finished hand sewing a sleeve on the back of a quilt I like to display in the fall 

just in time so it can hang in the entry for a few days 

before it will be time to switch it out for something more Christmas-y.

I finally made the time to finish this cute little mermaid set for GB#1. 

It's off in the mail and will likely take a couple weeks to arrive. 

I hope her mom will send me a picture of her reaction to the package.

Yesterday I started out just testing the new green coverlet on the bed 

and ended up decking the whole room out for Christmas, cleaning and cleaning out. 

I may be rushing things but I really like it so I'm ok with that.

Turn the pumpkins around.

I finally finished cutting out my Halloween quilt. 

I've come to the conclusion that working with scraps is way more work

 than cutting from yardage.

Also I cut twice as many large orange squares than I need, 

so I suspect you will be seeing another scrappy project with the leftovers.

Halloween is over and Linus is in slightly better shape than our pumpkins most years.

He seems to be missing both arms and suffers from a broken jaw. 

Oh, and he is missing an ear. 

That must have been quite a rumble.
