Day 175 of 2025

There is a new Fiesta color.
This one is called linen.
I'm looking forward to mixing this one in.
I'm not sure when they started with this stamp
on the back of the pieces.
It's definitely new to me
to have a number stamped below the Fiesta logo.

Day 145 of 2025

It's been a very long time since I've done a changing of the dishes.
I've chosen an expanded red, white and blue palette.
With a patriotic holiday in four of the next five months,
I feel it's an appropriate way to go.

(scarlet, flamingo, peony, cobalt, lapis, twilight,
peacock, turquoise, sky, white)

Day 283 of 2024

We finally ordered the newest Fiesta dinnerware color, sky.
They didn't tell us when it was coming
so it was a pleasant surprise when it arrived today.

Day 98 of 2024

I've changed the dishes to keep with the theme of the
Total Solar Eclipse tomorrow.

I did not look up all the colors I've used here,
but they are most of my yellows,
some of my oranges, black, gray and one turquoise for the sky.

Day 345 of 2023

I changed the dishes.
Like last year, I am still feeling the traditional colors.
I've used similar colors but left out the slate, black and peony
and added the new color for 2023, jade.

(scarlet, white, shamrock, evergreen, meadow, jade)

Day 200 of 2023

It's been on my list for a while,
and I finally got the dishes changed.
I plan to leave these out until I switch them for fall colors.

Colors used: turquoise, lapis, lemongrass, scarlet, daffodil,
poppy, and possibly one more orange

Day 148 of 2023

Sunday, May 28, 2023

It's time to change the dishes before tomorrow's family gathering and cookout.
I'll leave these out through Flag Day (June 14) and Independence Day (July 4),
then I'm hoping to get a fresh palette on the shelf for the rest of the summer.

I kept the palette pretty traditional this time without turquoise or pink.
Colors used: Scarlet, Cobalt, Lapis, Twilight, White

I forgot to tell you that I changed the dishes for January.
Like I usually do, I went with the frosty feel of blue and white.

Colors used:
Turquoise, Peacock, Cobalt, Twilight, Lapis, white
and I think one of my purples may have snuck in there.

Day 258 of 2022

Is anyone else ready for fall?
I am itching to change my dishes and small bathroom towels.
Some of these will definitely make the cut.

Day 200 of 2022

I've changed the dishes again, this time to reflect a summery feel.
I took my cue this time from the Starbucks You are Here mug for Florida.
This should last me until fall.

(colors used: turquoise, daffodil, sunflower, flamingo, white, peacock and peony)

Day 353 of 2021

I'm really feeling the traditional red and green this year.

Day 137 of 2021

I've changed the dishes in anticipation of the summer holidays coming up.
At the end of May is Memorial Day, and in June, Flag Day.
July brings Independence Day and Labor Day is in September.
I may leave this combination all summer long.

Dishes shown here are Fiesta Dinnerware colors Lapis, Scarlet, White, Peacock, Cobalt, Periwinkle and a set of six blue speckled bowls I got at a sale recently that I believe originally came from Pier 1.

Day 7 of 2021

I'm having one last hot drink
(hot water with lemon juice and hoarded blackberry honey from Christmas 2019)
in a Christmas mug today as I intend to change the dishes tomorrow
to something frosty like a selection of blues and white.
This mug might make another appearance for the spring selection
as I usually include green in that pick.
