I'm out and about downtown for lunch with Fireball. 

I've taken this picture before but can't seem to find it. 

If I come across it, I'll link it here so we can compare.

Today was the strawberry festival on the circle. 

We went early this morning 

and avoided the biggest crowds and lines.

I love this restaurant floor. 

I can see this as a quilt using striped fabrics. 

I can also see some of those stripes coming from my scrap bins.

After eating our dinner here near this floor, 

Fireball and I went to see our eldest perform 

in a production of Kiss Me Kate. 

It was such fun!

We're back at the theater. 

This one's pretty easy. 

The show was very good, the performers were all excellent 

and the voices were amazing.

Well, here we are again. 

It's date night. 

I'm sure by now I don't have to ask Where am I? 

because clearly it's the theater. 

The question then is What is it? 

Can you tell what we are seeing tonight?

One Big Adventure tonight was a Pacers game. 

It was fun even if they didn't win.

I took GB#2 to see a show for her birthday.

Today's football game was a crazy one. 

A quick recap of the ending goes like this: 

We missed the opportunity to win.

Time runs out.

We  got another chance to win. 

Colts win.

Oh, and the walk back to the car was beautiful.

I went downtown for a birthday lunch date with Fireball today. 

We walked from his office to the restaurant and just as we arrived, 

I saw the building that I posted about yesterday right in front of me. 

It really is huge.

Today was the first football game of the season. 

I frequently take a skyline picture. 

Today I noticed that since the end of last football season 

our skyline has changed dramatically. 

Below is a picture I took a few years ago for comparison.

It's just a short car ride from here and we'll be home. 

It's always good to be home.

We're headed back to our car downtown tonight. 

I know I'm not giving you much to go on, 

but does anyone want to guess where we were?

One little adventure to another coffee shop in the Café Passport. 

This one was downtown and we snagged a little table by the window. 

I forgot to get a picture before my blueberry tea 

and blueberry scone were gone, 

but they were both excellent.

With the baseball game we were going to attend tonight postponed, 

Fireball and I had dinner downtown before heading home

 before the severe weather. 

Some areas saw tornadoes, heavy rain, winds, hail and power outages. 

We had three of the five. 

Luckily, we avoided a tornado and still have power.

 

Day 74 of 2025

We've enjoyed having GB#3 for the week.

 The last thing we did before we took him home 

was to go to the comic convention downtown today. 

Meeting these brothers dressed up as two of his favorite characters 

absolutely made his day.

GB#4 and GB#5 were very proud of the houses they built 

at the Children's Museum today.

Someone famous is coming to town soon. 

The city is preparing by putting her image onto the side of a huge hotel. 

I can see it from the stadium where I am at a football game today

 and she will be performing in November.
