Our pumpkins are done.

Mine is on the left, R's is in the middle

and the one on the right was made by GB#3.

I think they turned out super cute.

It was nice to see some fall still exists at stores

with so many Christmas displays already.

It's pumpkin carving day.

So fun.

It's almost time to say goodbye to the fall mantel.

Fireball's birthday and Pumpkin Carving Day fell on the same day this year.

My pumpkin fell on the floor and split open,

but I did not let that stop me from finishing the carving.

I could not get the settings on my camera figured out

and switched fast enough to catch the birthday boy with three busy grandchildren

in a picture that was not blurry beyond repair.

But it was a great day. Happy birthday, Fireball.

Through it all, every day, you are my rock.

My quick solution for changing Halloween decor to something Thanksgiving appropriate?

Turn the pumpkins around.

Done.

Halloween is over and Linus is in slightly better shape than our pumpkins most years.

He seems to be missing both arms and suffers from a broken jaw.

Oh, and he is missing an ear.

That must have been quite a rumble.

It was another successful pumpkin carving day.
