I need to remake a t-shirt by Saturday afternoon. 

Can I make it in time?

I have a favorite t-shirt pattern. 

I have lots of t-shirts to make or remake. 

I found the front and sleeve patterns folded up 

in the fabric I hope to make my next t-shirt from. 

The back pattern was missing. 

I have been looking for it for over a week with no luck. 

I finally decided to trace a new pattern piece, 

do the alterations I need and move on. 

This will surely make the original traced and altered pattern show up. 

If not, it eventually will and in the mean time 

I will get some new shirts made.

 

Day 235 of 2023

I have more than a couple striped shirts. 

A few of them are getting pretty ratty and need to be replaced. 

The other day while thrifting, I found a "new to me" striped shirt. 

As always it went directly into the wash. 

Today I decided to wear that shirt but couldn't find it. 

It was not hanging up to dry 

and I couldn't find it in my drawer of folded shirts. 

I went upstairs and downstairs more times than I can count 

checking and rechecking all the usual and not so usual places for the shirt, 

but the shirt was not to be found. 

Finally, I found the shirt on the left, not the one I was looking for, 

in one of the unusual places and realized it was not in the drawer

 as I had originally thought. 

The folded shirt on the right is the one I thought was the one on the left, 

but was actually the one I was looking for all along. 

It was right there in the drawer, folded, where it belongs.

 

Day 103 of 2023

There was a little mix up of a shirt I ordered, but today, 

the correct one arrived. 

There could be no truer words.

 

Day 240 of 2022

As I am prone to do, I have changed my mind 

as to what to work on next. 

I have decided to make up a quick t-shirt. 

I would show you the fabric but it is currently in the dryer. 

I'd like to start and finish it tomorrow 

so the fabric needs to be ready to go in the morning.

We got new shirts for the little ones. 

We will not be all together this Christmas, so gifting happened early.

 

Day 242 of 2017

Another t-shirt remake has begun. 

I will be wearing it tomorrow for the game, 

so there might be an "after" picture soon.

I got my t-shirt remake done after midnight 

so I took today's picture before I went to bed. 

Consider this my "after" picture. 

I am pretty happy with the result.

Have you ever made a pattern from a readymade shirt?

I do this for the purpose of remaking a shirt or making an entirely new shirt. 

I have done it for both myself and for M.  

This time I will be remaking a shirt for DIL, R.
