Fireball and I went outside to see the first sunrise of the new year.

I think we may need to make this an annual activity.

I spent most off the day hanging out with family,

watching football,

un-knitting and re-knitting

Waiting for the new year.

I'm starting the year off with breakfast for dinner.

I have a few new things for the new year to keep my mind sharp.

It's a new decade. It's a new year. It's a new month.

It's a new day.

This is the best way to share a pint of ice cream.

On this Eve of the New Year and the New Decade,

Fireball and I opted for the ice cream over the wine we had planned.

GB#1 and GB#3 don't get to see each other very often

so we try to take advantage of every opportunity.
