USA State Flowers. 

The puzzle includes a list of each state and what the flower is. 

The puzzle itself it so beautiful. 

I have had my eye on it for years. 

I finally saw it at a sale price I've never seen before.

I was hoping to finish the puzzle tonight,

 but I did not make it before my deadline. 

I did get it finished about 45 minutes later.

I like to work my puzzles by color or specific area or subject. 

I started with the reds and dark pinks. 

I'm now moving through the blue/purples. 

The pieces here are a bit washed out because 

I had to get out a daylight lamp in order to pick out the pieces I needed. 

This room does not have afternoon light, 

and you know my left eye needs lots of light to see. 

I'll try to get a true to color picture when I finish it.

Puzzle update: 

I have sorted most of the pieces by predominant color. 

Right now I'm working mainly on red portions.

It looks like the last puzzle I did was in September of last year.

It may take me a bit longer than usual 

as I will be trying not to work on just the puzzle all day.

It's on my list to learn how to solve my new puzzle tomorrow,

but I accomplished the task early.

I have acquired two new puzzles. 

I've scrambled and solved the holiday cube,

 but it's going to take some research and practice 

to get the hang of the pyramid one.

 

Day 107 of 2026

I haven't done my puzzles since before Monday

 when I became so ill. 

I am feeling much better now 

and feel I'm ready to tackle them again.

With a large crowd of varying ages arriving soon

 to celebrate the holidays, 

I have been collecting some new games and puzzles (not shown)

 to help provide some fun, non-screen activities 

that everyone can participate in.

Fireball alerted me that it was really nice out today. 

That prompted me to go out to the deck, 

put up the umbrella, do my puzzles and have a snack. 

He wasn't wrong.

It's Thursday Puzzle Update Day. 

I got it finished today. 

I really love this one as it gives off major autumn vibes. 

I'm not sure that I can keep up the puzzle a week trend, 

but if I do, I'll be sure to update you here.

My intention for today's picture 

was to be a shot of the second cuff for my pair of socks. 

I worked on them all day 

but ultimately had to tear them back and start over. 

As a result, I have no picture of said cuff. 

I bought this tiny puzzle in Seattle 

and put it together a week or so ago. 

I'll be putting it away so a picture is in order. 

Maybe I should bring back Thursday puzzle updates from 2020.

Finished. 

At 500 pieces, this one was a quick and fun one. 

I will definitely do this one again.

Today seemed like the right time to start another puzzle.

Update on the glue search: 

I looked in a drawer in the kitchen desk 

to see if I could find the glue for my shoe repair. 

I did not see it so I started cleaning out the drawer instead. 

In the back I found an old cigar box. 

When I opened it, this is what I found. 

I don't need these so they are not going to stay here, 

but I had to take a picture as they reminded me

 of this puzzle I did back in 2020. 

When I cleared out the rest of the drawer, I did find my glue. 

I have now fixed my sandals. 

There is no need to shop for new sandals 

or buy more shoe repair glue.

The last few weeks have been busy 

and I haven't always gotten to my puzzles. 

Today I'm going to solve all of these.
