It finally rained this afternoon. It was a nice (but temporary) break from the heat.
Unfortunately, it didn't last and wasn't enough to help our poor lawn
or relieve this severe drought.

I made a cute little bag with laminated fabric.
It got stuffed with goodies from the quilt shop
and went to a dear friend for her birthday.
