It was girls' day out at the movies.

Mom, Little E, M and I went to see The Theory of Everything.

If you go, bring tissues.

It was a Pinterest chain of events.

DIL, R, pinned these gluten free cinnamon rolls.

M saw her pin and repinned it.

M told me about the rolls and I repinned it. 

I decided there is no time like the present to do a trial run on these rolls 

that might have to make an appearance Christmas morning. 

Mmmm, I think we have found a winner.

I'm getting ready to finish up a few gifts and cross that off my list.

As the Thanksgiving Day festivities wind down and guests head for home, 

the clean up begins. 

This is the bottom of the tub where beverages sat in ice outside in the cold. 

The ice melted down a bit and then refroze as the temperature dropped 

creating this frozen pattern in the bottom. 

I want to send an extra special thank you to my sister 

who almost single-handedly washed all the dishes.  

I am thankful.

Once upon a time, not that long ago, 

I made two nice flannel neck warmers filled with rice. 

I kept these neck warmers in a drawer near the microwave where they would be warmed up. 

An "un-welcomed guest" (as Joanne so aptly put it) thought I put them there for him. 

Luckily, he only ate one as the other is in my studio where I last used it.

This is yet another project I have started that is not likely to get done anytime soon. 

I work on it sometimes in the evening when I sit down. 

Lately though I've had a difficult time even keeping my eyes open. 

It makes it rough to knit.

I finished the first of two fabric bins for the half bath 

from the leftover fabric from the curtain I made earlier.

M has a new look.

This time the glasses really are hers. 

It is the first time she has ever needed help with her vision.

The building is all done on the fireplace project.  The holes are filled and sanded.  

The area has been taped off.  Next up is the priming and painting. 

 I am always amazed at how long the prep takes.  

The goal is to have it all done before Thanksgiving, only two weeks from Thursday, 

so the push is on.

GB#3 and the zebra had some tummy time today. 

It looks like a serious conversation about stripes. 

I am disappointed with the lack of focus in the picture, 

but happiness in the tummy position is limited 

as are the opportunities for a picture retake.
