Day 207 of 2026

The panels are my favorite part of Comic-con.
This one was called Eisner's New York
highlighting the work of Will Eisner over his career.
It was fascinating.

Day 206 of 2026

If you've been following along for a while
you may have guessed
that we are at Comic-con again this year.
Many people are dressed in character,
but I rarely think to get a picture.
I did get this picture of Fireball with TMNT Raphael.

Day 272 of 2025

I made a quick trip into a Goodwill store over the weekend
looking for a piece of furniture and an IU t-shirt.
I came away with an IU shirt that may need some altering
and no furniture that met my needs.
In the search for the shirt I kept coming across other t-shirts
that seemed to be suitable for another trip to Comic-Con
if we make it there again.
In the basket are the five shirts I bought.
One is specific to me (not comic related)
and the other four are more commercially known.
Can you tell what they are? The top one is your first big clue.
Let's number them left to right, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
So let's do a What Is It?

Day 208 of 2025

It's our last day at Comic-Con and we had to get our photo by the wall.
We've had a blast.

Day 207 of 2025

Part of Comic-Con is panels.
The panel could have celebrities, actors from tv or movies,
authors and other such things.
Today we sat in on a panel all about the making of a book
celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Peanuts comic strip.
The panel consisted of everyone associated with the process
of getting this book made.
It was a great panel and the book looks amazing.
I can't wait for the book to come out in October.

Day 206 of 2025

Lots of people were dressed up like lots of different things or characters,
but this is probably my favorite.

Day 205 of 2025

Yesterday we landed in San Diego
and today we joined the crowd of thousands to attend
Comic-Con International on its first day.
We were lucky enough to get admission
to all four days of the convention.
We heard from a multi-year veteran vendor couple
that the odds are very low of that happening.

Day 199 of 2025

There is a whole lot of sewing on the docket for this weekend.
Once again Michaels came through
with the materials I needed for this project.
