Yesterday's fabric became five skirts today for Little E and GB#1.

These circle skirts are for GB#1. 

She picked out the fabrics from my stash. 

She picked out the trim and elastic colors at the store. 

She made some great choices.

The black and gray ones made for Little E (too boring, according to GB#1) 

 were not photographed.

I made eight dress up aprons for Christmas, 

two each of four different characters. 

Six were done on time. 

The other two were finished today. 

Can you guess which ones took so long? 

Yes, the two Belle aprons, with the extra fluffy layer, took longer than expected.

The quilting meeting was at my house tonight. 

The night ended with dessert and the coloring of the table runner.

which they brought back from their visit to Germany last summer.

I have made another pincushion. 

This time it is for quite the animal lover. 

I believe process of selecting the fabrics actually took longer 

than it did for me to make the gift. 

I think it was worth it though because I think I nailed it.

Santas are done. 

I changed my approach a little this year. 

It seemed to go more smoothly and quickly. 

I did just notice though that Charlie Brown and a few other Colorforms 

are making an appearance in this photo. 

Oh well, must keep the curious little ones happy.

I made a pincushion for a friend for her birthday. 

I think she liked it.

Creative gift wrapping. 

I'm pretty sure I saw the basic idea on Pinterest. 

Choose a shape and cut out a pattern.

Using your pattern cut two out of brown paper for each gift to be wrapped. 

Stitch two of the brown paper pieces together 

leaving an opening big enough for your gift. 

Insert gift and finish stitching until closed. 

Embellish with markers in your favorite designs. 

Tear to open.

in the form of a calendar provided on her blog.  

I have loved every one of them.

I do wish the color in this photo were more accurate. 

This really is a beautiful teal blue. 

I will try to get a better picture when this project is finished.

That said, I am about to begin work on another of Little E's UFOs.

This one needs a little knitting along with the weaving of ends 

and sewing up one small section. 

In order to accomplish this successfully, 

I need to become comfortable with the stitch pattern 

and get a gauge that is as close to the original knitting as possible. 

I've done a swatch and I think I'm there.

I finished another of Little E's UFOs today. 

There were lots of ends to weave in and a couple buttons to sew on.
