to create a very large Christmas tree.

I hosted our annual Christmas party for my quilt group. 

It is always great fun and is often called "the best party of the year."

As always we had great food, lots of laughs, goodies and gifts. 

Quilty friends are the best.

I am working on something that involves cutting lots of these shapes.

Thanks for all your well wishes regarding my wrist. 

The swelling isn't as bad as it was yesterday and 

I am going to try wrapping it.

I know no one wants to see a picture of my winter-dry hand and arm,

but the biggest thing that happened today

 is that giant goose egg where my wrist should be. 

I'll try to make the story short.

While moving a large chair with Fireball,  

I caught my wrist on a doorway with the full force of the chair behind it.  

At first it was just a nice indentation that really hurt.

Hours later I noticed it had transformed into a giant bump. 

Yes, I have been icing it. 

It doesn't really seem to be helping.

First snow as seen through the screen door and half-made wreath.

Swap screen door for storm door.

I feel like I am moving in slow motion 

while everything else is traveling at lightning speed.

Tomorrow the ornaments will go on the tree.
