I was alerted that Jupiter was very bright and visible tonight. 

I know it's hard to see in this photo, 

but it is the small but bright speck just above the left edge

 of the tree in the middle of the frame. 

It was much more impressive in person, 

but I thought I'd document it here anyway.

Fireball and I walked around the entire concourse of the stadium.

The headband goes with the birthday dress. 

I hope it fits. 

If not, I can adjust it as long as it's too big and not too small. 

In that case I will need to make another one,

Friday's picture was from the welcome gathering 

before our 50th high school class reunion. 

Yesterday there was a tour of the old high school

 and the basketball "bowl" where our team played 

followed by a tour of the new high school where I attended. 

Last night was the main event with the official group picture, 

catching up with friends,

dinner and dancing. 

I was skeptical about going but am glad I did.

Hello.

My computer break was much needed as was the trip I took in that absence here. 

I was able to enjoy the space, people and adventures we had. 

One of those adventures was a ferry trip to Bainbridge Island 

where I found Ester's, a lovely little fabric shop. 

These fabrics that remind me very much of my early sewing years 

came home with me. 

I got caught up in laundry today but was able to get my pictures loaded. 

I hope to get the missing posts finished tomorrow.

This very early flight will take us home.

On this trip we learned to navigate the bus system, 

took the light rail and finally took a ferry. 

Now that it's not as scary, 

we'll have to go back to Bainbridge Island again on our next trip.

 were adversely affecting visibility and our ability to breath and sleep.

Today we met my brother and sister-in-law at the Public Market. 

From there we walked to Olympic Sculpture Park 

and International Fountain at Seattle Center. 

It was very difficult to pick just one picture from the day, 

but these flowers at the market were breathtaking.

Fireball and I spent the last week in Seattle. 

We were fortunate to be able to get away

 to this beautiful part of the country and to visit M and The Trumpeter. 

This is the spot on which they officially got married

 over a year before their wedding last December. 

We are so grateful that the weather was wonderful

 and the mountain (Ranier) was out.

I had never tried anything pumpkin spice flavored until tonight. 

I made hot chocolate and added some of this syrup. 

It was very tasty, although pretty rich. 

I'll try it again but maybe only a half serving.

This dress is on my list to make later this month. 

I prefer a paper pattern to a PDF print-and-assemble pattern. 

This one was hard to find locally. 

I ordered it from an Etsy seller and it arrived today. 

I can't wait to open it up and read the directions.
