Today was quite a productive day with regard to the mantel construction.
Fireball and I installed the thin shelf (above the existing one)
and all the boards above that today.
There is so much more to be done but I thought I'd share the steps as they happen.
And it will be so satisfying, when you're all done, to look back on these progress pictures. It looks like you've had a wonderful start! Can't wait to see the final product.
