I started this in 2014 when GB#3 was a baby and came to see me each day.

Literally. 

Technically, there are still ends to weave in, 

but I needed a quick gift

 so I started and finished this little baby hat this evening.

My parliament is complete more than a week ahead of time.

I do wish the color in this photo were more accurate. 

This really is a beautiful teal blue. 

I will try to get a better picture when this project is finished.

That said, I am about to begin work on another of Little E's UFOs.

This one needs a little knitting along with the weaving of ends 

and sewing up one small section. 

In order to accomplish this successfully, 

I need to become comfortable with the stitch pattern 

and get a gauge that is as close to the original knitting as possible. 

I've done a swatch and I think I'm there.

I finished another of Little E's UFOs today. 

There were lots of ends to weave in and a couple buttons to sew on.

Today I am working on my PHD (Projects Half Done.) 

Five finished, thirteen to go. 

Deadline, December 6.

When Little E moved out of the country 

I inherited lots of her unfinished knitting projects.  

This one just needed a little sewing up at the neckline and ends woven in.  

Done.  

It's going to be cool tomorrow.  I think I will wear it.

Daylight Saving Time ended a few days ago. 

Some people have trouble with the mornings and bedtimes.

I'm okay with those.

It's the earlier sunsets that I am having a rough time with.

Does my local craft store stay open late and sell the product I need? 

Yes.  Yes, they do. 

To be honest, I probably don't have the heavy duty stuff which I am very glad I got.  

I did have a 40% off coupon so, once again, all is well.

I am on day four of a nasty cold and am still feeling quite puny. 

The headaches in particular have me moving quite slowly. 

Tonight you will find me in my favorite chair 

snuggled with a cozy flannel quilt, 

reading my new quilt magazine 

and watching the final game of the World Series.
