Curiously Intertwined

We've been having a lot of storms and rainy weather lately,

and even though we'd like it to not rain for a while,

I enjoyed the remnants of our latest overnight storm on the kitchen window screen

this morning.

The left over muffins sit atop my new covered cake stand.

Fireball helped me install a curtain rod with clips in the Big Room today.

This spot will serve as the on deck circle for the next quilt to be quilted.

The idea is that when I come in to work on the current quilt,

the next one will be hanging so I can form ideas about quilting designs.

If the quilt isn't too big, it will also make a great place to take my "before" picture.

This next one was made for GB#1 for her first birthday.

She's almost 3.

It's time to be brave and finish it.

I am inspired.

All kinds of fun is happening at Grandma's house.

I received an order I placed earlier in the week in the mail today.

I am looking forward to a little light reading

so I can learn how to make a few cute little critters.

I've been working on this room all day.

I might have, just maybe, found some papers and receipts under a chair dated 2009.
