Curiously Intertwined

Ok. I'm going to call this the valentine dish selection.

I met a new friend tonight at my quilting meeting.

She was a little camera shy.

I mentioned a couple weeks ago while I was in Florida

that my projects of choice for the trip were knitting ones.

We were mostly busy with other activities,

but I did finish this hat and made a little scrubbie dish cloth.

I know the hat will fit its recipient as it fits me

and we have similar sized heads.

The cloth is made of one strand of cotton yarn and one strip of netting

which makes for a very nice cloth that isn't quite a tough as a scrubbie alone

but has more oomph than a regular cloth.

Guests have arrived.

Can you guess who has come to stay for a while?

The guest room is done and ready for our first house guests tomorrow.

Today Fireball and I received a lovely gift from M,

our recently transplanted girl.

Fireball and I shared a dessert tonight.

If I were at home this plate would look very different.
