I've got my base layer for the fire pit down and tamped,

but I'm losing daylight

so the final leveling will have to wait until tomorrow.

Little hands are working the designs of my wooden blocks.

One of the benefits of cancelled flights

is additional days with Little E and GB#1.

I'm checking the depth of the hole I'm digging.

The base layer is next and then the fire pit building can commence.

Great Grandpa H has a new room with a view.

How to finish the soup fast:

Throw in the large blob of old frozen vegetables.

Onion, chicken, rice and broth have already been added.

Last class of musical theater usually involves a presentation for the families.

Today was no different.
