I took several pictures of the wonderful vegetables growing in Big D and R's garden, 

but my favorite picture was this lovely curl of a vine.

Like all good home improvement projects, 

ours required another trip to the home improvement center 

before we could really get started.  

Of course they didn't have everything we needed,

so we stopped at another before heading home.

With great urgency in the air,

 I have begun a new knitting project.

We are gathering supplies to complete the fireplace project 

over the long holiday weekend.
