In one of my distracted moments today...

As luck would have it I forgot to take a picture of the back of my block yesterday.

I guess that was so I could take a picture of it today and show it to you.

I could not be happier with the way my first hand sewn block turned out.

It measures 5 inches and will finish at 4 1/2 inches.

On to number two.

The colors of spring at this local garden shop caught me by surprise.

It looks like these guys have a new friend.

It was so big, I couldn't get the whole thing in the shot.

Mom is eighty-eight.

I baked a cake.
