Since the sun is out,

I thought I would do some pattern assembly with the original light box.

Lately I have been struggling with a fabric decision.

I think I may go an entirely different direction.

The newest addition to the quilt along blocks, skinny arrows, is complete.

My quilt along blocks are going a little slowly this week.

I'll have them done though.

Deadline is tomorrow at midnight.

Today we had a family gathering.

I didn't really take any pictures.

Sometimes when I want to participate, have fun and enjoy the people around me,

I forget to take pictures.

I guess it makes me feel more connected and less like a spectator.

Is anyone else like this?

Luckily, I took a picture of one of the cicadas that are emerging in our yard this morning.

These are quite different from the large green ones we see every year.

I saw my first cicada shell of the year today.

There were actually three within one square foot on these Lilies of the Valley.

We might be seeing some of our favorite little people soon

so I am making sure that some of our favorite puzzles and books are ready.
