Curiously Intertwined

I'm excited about some cooler weather thrift store finds,

but first they must go directly into the washer.

Guess who's two?

GB#5 is two,

and the dress and headband I made for her fit beautifully,

and she loves them.

Win, win, win,

I was alerted that Jupiter was very bright and visible tonight.

I know it's hard to see in this photo,

but it is the small but bright speck just above the left edge

of the tree in the middle of the frame.

It was much more impressive in person,

but I thought I'd document it here anyway.

Every day the days get shorter

and the sun goes down a little earlier.

I am matchstick quilting some of my Rifle Paper Co. canvas.

(quilting lines are 1/4" apart)

I am very pleased with the effect.

Prior to today's home opener game,

Fireball and I walked around the entire concourse of the stadium.

This is a different view than we normally get.

Great Grandpa H's sewing space.

And yes, he made himself a pin cushion out of an old sock.
