This quilt was for sale at a nearby antique mall. It was billed as a "cutter."
I think the description was misleading.
It's not at all that it is in such bad shape
that the only good use would be to cut it up for other projects,
but rather the quilt is in great shape
with the exception of this big hole that someone has cut into it.
I believe this quilt deserves a second chance
so I took this as a challenge to make it better.
As soon as I can grab a quilt holder and a nice day without rain,
I'll show you the whole, beautiful thing...
and progress pictures of the rescue, of course.
