Day 197 of 2022

It's the third day in a row to post a picture of this quilt progress,
but today I used a new-to-me method for cutting half square triangles apart.
Camille Roskelley (designer of this quilt) posted this tip
so I had to give it a try because there are so many triangles.
I have to say it worked really well.

  1. This is the way I have always made HSTs and then I trim them with the Quilt in a Day Traiangle Square Up rule. They are perfect HSTs. I am just finishing up a quilt that had 100's of HSts and I tried the 8 at a time method. Where has this been all my quilting life? Very speedy way to make tons of HSTs and they most don't even need triming once cut. Love the colors in your quilt and hope you photo the finished top.
