We were out today near the Old House and decided to walk by
and see how it was doing.
We were shocked to see how inhospitable it was.
I am so sad to see such a great house give off such a vibe.
I cannot know what Great Grandpa H's reaction would be
if he were still here to see this,
but I imagine it would include both sadness and anger.

So very sad. I moved in 2024 and drove by my house a couple of months ago for the first time. I will not go back by if that tells you anything.
ReplyDeleteSo disappointing. Going past my childhood home and where mum and dad lived forever is so tough, too. All the orchards dad planted when he retired have had cows grazing in them.
