Day 7 of 2023

November and December always seem to be very busy months. 

The crafting I'd like to get done before Christmas rarely seems to happen. 

This year in my planning frenzy, 

I've decided to have Christmas in January. 

I will be devoting some time this month to make lots of stars 

and other delights which I will box up

 to be discovered again in December. 

Future me will thank current me.

My stamps that were ordered almost four weeks ago finally arrived. 

If you normally get a Christmas card from me,

 this is why it hasn't arrived yet. 

 

Day 4 of 2023

I've never done this before, 

but I am going to try planning the whole year out at once. 

I don't do resolutions but have decided to write down some goals 

and actually get some things on the calendar. 

These blue dots represent recycling pick up and already I did it wrong.

We'll see how it goes. 

I have high hopes.

After a family group message discussion on favorite cookies, 

I felt compelled to make a late night batch of cookies. 

Peanut butter cookies seemed the fastest 

and one for which I always have all the ingredients. 

They were delicious.

Happy New Year to everyone. 

When I was at home today I spent my time crocheting. 

Here is my progress so far. 

Sorry, Ben's Bikes, it is not the beginnings of a beanie. 

I am about to introduce a new color into the project.
