The prediction was for five to seven inches of snow beginning at 4:00 in the morning.
The snow finally began eleven hours late.
About four hours later we had accumulated one and a half inches of snow.
After another four hours our snow had stopped
and our total was not quite two and a half inches.
I have to say that I am a bit disappointed
as I was prepared to be stuck in for a while
but I'm sure the frigid temperatures and fierce winds we are expecting now
will make up for it.
We had a big storm event this past week. Living at a higher elevation we expected snow. However, we ended up with 1/2 inch of snow and somethings like 7 inches of rain over a few days period. Rain was really better to fill our lake which was down over 9 feet. With the rain and run off it is now just a little over 7 feet down.
